Pierre Cardin Studio Nails – Glitter Nail Polish
The Studio Nails series features highly pigmented, fast-drying and long-lasting nail polishes that provide intense shine and perfect coverage in just one coat. The Glitter version additionally contains shimmering particles (mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite) for a glamorous effect. They are suitable for professional and home use.

Composition

The basic formula is based on classic nail polishes:

• Solvents : ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, isopropyl alcohol

• Film-forming polymer : nitrocellulose

• Plasticizers and stabilizers : polyester‑23, acetyl tributyl citrate, styrene/acrylates copolymer, acrylates copolymer

• Pigments and particle effects : mica, synthetic fluorphlogopite, barium sulfate, tin oxide

• Thickeners / suspending agents : stearalkonium bentonite, silica

• Adhesive and auxiliary ingredients : sucrose acetate isobutyrate, phosphoric acid, diacetone alcohol

• Possible traces : aluminum hydroxide, pigments CI ... (CI 77891 titanium dioxide, CI 15850, CI 77510, CI 77491, CI 77499, CI 77007 etc.)

This composition is in line with modern nail polishes, where solvents and nitrocellulose form a solid layer on the nail, glitter particles add a visual effect, while thickeners ensure the stability of the formula.

How to use

1. Prepare your nails – clean, shape, remove grease.

2. Apply a thin layer of base (optional).

3. Mix the varnish well before application.

4. Apply 1–2 thin coats of varnish, let dry.

5. For long-lasting shine and protection, apply a glossy/top coat.
